Description
Hailey Gaunt, writer and poet says: “You need no qualification to write – you need only to connect with and liberate your authentic voice.” Using freewriting and guided prompts, and drawing on the setting of Oranjezicht City Farm, you will practice listening to and expressing your own voice. This is a workshop for beginners or experienced poets and writers hoping to pause and reclaim space for their creative life.
In this in-depth creative writing workshop, you will have the opportunity to explore both freestyle and guided writing exercises, ground yourself within the peaceful and beautiful setting of the farm, look within; observing your own internal space and then share with others, your creative process.

Instructor: Hailey Gaunt is a writer and poet, living in Cape Town. She holds a Master’s in Creative Writing from Rhodes University and has published one collection of poetry, My Life on Legs.
